What is KYC?
KYC or “know your customer” is the process of identifying and verifying a customer’s identity when opening an account at eBankX.
eBankX must ensure that their clients are genuinely who they claim to be as part of the regulatory compliance requirements.
These requirements are in place to prevent illegal activities, such as money laundering, funding terrorism, and tax evasion.
eBankX may refuse to open an account if a client fails to meet the minimum KYC requirements.
How to complete KYC?
Step 1: Click “Verify your account”
Step 2: Click. the agree to the terms & conditions check box. Click next.
Step 3: Select the country that issued your identity document, then choose and upload the Identity Document. Click next.
Step 4: Submit proof of residence following the instructions. Click next.
Step 5: Submit your mobile number. Click next.
Step 6: Upload a selfie following the requirements. Click next and wait for the verification process.
What next?
Once a customer has completed the KYC check, they will receive an email from eBankX confirming the check has been completed or if any further information or documents are required.
